My story? It’s a bit bittersweet. I was very loved by my human, but when he passed away, my whole world turned upside down. I lost the only home I’d ever known, and it broke my heart. I stopped eating and didn’t know how to feel safe again. But then something beautiful happened—a foster family took me in and has been giving me all the patience, love, and understanding I need to find myself again.

I’m housebroken, crate trained, and on the smaller side for a Husky mix (so I fit just right on the couch next to you). Every morning, I greet my foster family with a big smile and a toy in my mouth—because I’m finally happy to wake up in a home where I feel safe. I absolutely love toys… and having my very own people again.

I live with other dogs and do great with them now, though I was a bit protective of my crate in the beginning (can you blame me?). I also live with children, and while I adore them, I’m still learning my manners, so a home without small kiddos would be best for me while I continue to grow.

I’m a good listener, but hey—I’m not perfect! I’m working on keeping my paws off counters and learning that not every stranger is a threat. I take my job of protecting my people very seriously. Once you’re "family-approved," though? I’ll show you my sweet side, complete with my pearly smile and all the love in my heart.
