Hi, I’m Lucia—a 3½-year-old Lab/Husky mix with striking blue eyes and a heart full of love. I was rescued from a shelter three years ago, and now, through no fault of my own, I’m once again searching for my forever home. My person has to move somewhere I’m not allowed to go… so here I am, hoping to find a family who will love me forever this time.

I’m a gentle soul who lives for car rides, belly rubs, and cuddles on the couch. I’ll happily rest my head on your lap while we watch TV together—I'm the perfect snuggle buddy. I’m super smart too! I know commands like sit, come, and down, and if there are treats involved? I’m all ears.

I’m housebroken, though I do take a daily medication called Proin for a bit of spay incontinence. It’s affordable and works great—as long as I get my potty breaks, I don’t have any accidents at all!

Crate trained? You bet! I sleep quietly in my crate at night, though I do love curling up in bed if I’m allowed. I’m also totally trustworthy when left home alone—no chewing, no messes, just me waiting patiently for you to come back.

When it comes to other dogs, I’m a total sweetheart. I live with a senior pup and we even eat side-by-side with no trouble at all. I enjoy visiting the dog park—I'm a little shy at first, but once the leash comes off, I’m all zoomies and tail wags! Cats and small critters? Not really my thing… especially possums. Nope!

I love kids, big and small! I greet them with happy kisses and will flop down to soak up all the attention. I do pull a bit on the leash when we walk, but bring a few treats along and I’ll stay right with you. I also love to chew on bones and bask in the sunshine.

My dream home? A place with a fenced yard, older kiddos, maybe a dog sibling, and a family who’ll take me for car rides and include me in their lives. I’ve got so much love to give, and I’m ready to share it with my forever people.
